Dr. David A. Almeida is Professor of Special Education at Bridgewater State University (欧宝体育). He was previously Associate Professor of Education at Stonehill College (SC). He served as department chair at both 欧宝体育 and SC as well as Acting Associate Dean. Dr. Almeida was a founding faculty member of the Pedro Pires Institute for Cape Verdean Studies at 欧宝体育. Prior to his work in higher education, Dr. Almeida was a special education teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
